With a grid it is easy to control and focus the light where you want it to be, while limiting light scattering to other areas of the image. It simply allows you to increase control over light shaping. We offer grids with different levels of light scattering. The grids cover a light diffusion of 5° to 20°, the focus and concentration of the light can change radically. This means you have several options to shape the light and create the mood you're looking for, whether it's more intense, character-filled portrait light or even slightly more directed light to capture a hairstyle detail.
