With the Profoto Air Remote TTL-S you can do more than just trigger the flash. Devices that have the Airsync receiver built in (almost all current Profoto devices, such as B10, B1, D2, Pro10 ...) can also be controlled remotely with the TTL-S and you can use the TTL and the HSS function. TTL means "Thru the Lens" and describes the measurement of the exposure data while taking the photo from the camera's point of view. HSS stands for "High speed Sync" and means shooting with shutter speeds faster than the x-sync speed of the camera. With Sony, this mode allows you to take a flash exposure with 1/4000 or 1/8000 instead of 1/250th. However, this must be activated in the camera menu "External flash control". Ideal for freezing fast movements, or to minimize ambient daylight in relation to the image light.
