The Panton Chair is a classic in the history of furniture. Verner Panton designed the chair in 1960 and developed it together with Vitra to series production (1967). It was the first all-plastic chair made in one piece. Since its introduction, it has gone through several production phases. It is only since 1999 that the chair can be produced according to its basic idea - made of solid-colored, hard-wearing plastic with a matt-finish surface.
